Terms and Conditions

Ordering:

Weddings cakes should ideally be ordered 6 months in advance and other cakes 1 month. However please contact me to discuss, I we will try and accommodate last minute orders. I only work on a small number of cakes a week so that I can maintain the quality, so order as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Deposit and Payment:

A deposit of £100 for wedding cakes and £40 celebration cakes, all cakes below £40 full payment required with order.  Balance payment required 28 days before delivery of wedding cake and celebration cakes 14 days before collection. Cakes ordered within 2 weeks of collection, full payment required with the order. Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation.

Check you Order:

I will email a copy of the cake order, please could you check and ensure all details are correct e.g. dates, spelling of names etc. It is the customers responsibility to check that the details on the order are correct. 

Delivery:

I prefer customers to collect their cakes, as I'm proud of the environment in which they are created. However, I will deliver within Bath for £5, for all other locations please discuss with us.

Allergens and Special Dietary Requirements:

All my cakes contain the following allergens: Wheat containing Gluten, Milk and Eggs, our chocolate cakes contain Soya and are made in a kitchen where nuts, soya and alcohol are handled. An information sheet is supplied with all orders stating allergens and non-edible decorations.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their guest are aware of this information and it is given to the venue if relevant.

However please contact me with any special dietary requirements and we will try to accommodate.

Non-Edible Decorations:

An Information Sheet will be supplied with all cake orders, this includes allergen information and any non-edible decorations. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their guest are aware of this information and ensure it is given to your venue.

Shelf Life:

Our cakes are best eaten within 2 days of collection / delivery.. Please do not place cakes covered in sugar paste in the fridge. Once cut our cakes are best stored in an airtight container.

Cakes with chocolate ganache should be stored in the fridge if possible and to be eaten within 4 days of collection. If stored out of fridge eat                  within 2 days of collection.

Customer Satisfaction:

If you are unhappy with the cake for any reason I will try and rectify prior to the event. If there is a design issue, please email photos of the cake within 24 hours of delivery / collection. If there is a taste problem, please could you provide samples within 24 hours of the cake being served.
